1. TechComms designed and executed a media and analyst campaign to help drive awareness of Inforcer’s role in powering Microsoft’s Intune for MSPs initiative.

2. The TechComms team combined content creation, media, and analyst relations to deliver financial commercial benefits to Inforcer.

3. Generated 16 new customers, $58k in monthly recurring revenue opportunities, and over $100k in Annual Recurring Revenue.

BACKGROUND

In September 2025, Inforcer was selected as one of only two software companies in the world to support and enable Microsoft’s brand-new initiative: ‘Intune for MSPs.’

Intune is a tool for managing and securing devices – it currently manages 200 million devices worldwide. Managed Service Provider (MSP) using Intune can find it incredibly inefficient to manage and secure devices on behalf of their customers. For example, a MSP with 150 customers would potentially need 150 separate logins. As a result of Inforcer’s software, MSPs can now manage devices across hundreds of client companies from a single screen.

Inforcer’s formal selection by Microsoft was a major achievement for the team.

STRATEGY

We knew a single, standalone media announcement would not be enough to reach our target media audiences. Therefore, we planned a multifaceted campaign covering several touchpoints over four months.

We worked with Inforcer to identify key messages that were essential to include across all earned media and published articles.

We also saw the value in Inforcer’s leadership team telling the company’s story firsthand. By securing media interviews for key representatives, we helped drive unique earned media placements beyond standard press release coverage.

As a new service launch, we knew it would not be possible to provide customer references yet understood that third-party validation is essential to a successful campaign. To address this, we briefed industry analysts as early as possible so they could provide crucial context and validation.

Lastly, to reinforce our news program, sustain visibility beyond the initial announcement, and educate MSPs on the benefits of using Inforcer, we leveraged thought leadership content to keep the momentum going.

RESULTS

Between September and December 2025, two news announcements were created: the first covered the Intune for MSPs initiative, and the second focussed on the appointment of Inforcer’s new senior vice president of business development – a former Microsoft executive.

Then, the TechComms team secured:

  • Two briefings with Omdia, a leading analyst firm in the IT channel industry -outlining Inforcer’s strategic position.
  • Seven media interviews and podcast placements with tier-one UK and US channel publications for Inforcer’s chief strategy officer.
  • Two thought-leadership placements in key channel focused publications.
  • Five newsjacking commentary placements that helped provide additional industry context.
  • Overall, TechComms secured 42 earned articles for both announcements and thought-leadership content, of which 88% were in tier-one publications.
  • Earned media coverage reached a combined monthly audience of approximately 6.8 million.
  • 247 brand mentions across all earned media coverage, with 13 articles including direct backlinks to the Inforcer website.

The earned media and analyst campaign delivered measurable business results:

  • A substantial uplift in Inforcer’s website referral traffic over the six-month period.
  • More visitors reaching Inforcer via third-party websites.
  • 16 new customers.
  • $58k in monthly recurring revenue opportunities.
  • More than $100k in annual recurring revenue.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL

“TechComms has had a measurable impact on inforcer’s growth and market presence in the UK and US. We’ve seen strong evidence of increased visibility through a substantial uplift in referral traffic over the past six months, with more visitors reaching inforcer via third-party websites as a result of TechComms’ PR activity. TechComms’ work has also had a clear impact on commercial outcomes. PR and coverage are now referenced in almost every sales conversation, customers regularly tell us they’ve seen our announcements and industry coverage, and it has helped build real credibility for inforcer within the MSP community.”
